Blackfin Tuna Fishing out of Hillsboro Inlet
It’s always a great experience to share fish stories with fellow fisherman. We had a fly fisherman, Matt, come aboard our 32’ Intrepid for a fun family fishing day on the water. We loved comparing our fishing techniques out of Pompano Beach, Florida to his past experiences fly fishing all over the world. Matt brought his wife, daughter and son. Since it was a short four hour fishing trip we quickly put our lines out and began planer fishing and trolling near the reef. We trolled over several wrecks north of Hillsboro Inlet and had a lot of action catching barracudas. The kids loved seeing a barracuda in person, which makes for a great picture as it is one cool trophy fish! Then we decided to head offshore to deeper water in search of more edible fish. We quickly found a school of blackfin tunas and spent the rest of the time hooking up tuna after tuna! It’s always a fun time to give kids and anglers of all ages a chance to experience some deep sea fishing off the East coast of Florida!
If you’re looking to do some fishing in the Pompano Beach area give Gale Force Fishing a call and we will be happy to put you on the fish for some Family Fun Fishing!
